Description
I'm posting this from my hotel room in Sedona. This spot was a little farther than I thought and I left much later than I should have so i missed the evening light shining on the rocks before sunset. I think I have some better photos than this one from my Arizona trip but this is the only one I've really done anything with yet so I thought I'd share it. Anyway I gotta go because I'll be waking up at 5:00 am for the sunrise and its supposed to be partly cloudy so it may be a good one.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactMy first spontaneous reaction to this photo was being amazed at the reflection and depth in the water of rocks and trees, including the sky; an overall exceptional contrast to the lighter exposure of the sky. It suits it, as you can see the difference, so in my opinion the "overexposure" of the sky is in good contrast with the deeper reflection in the water. Good antithesis.
I have never had the privilege to visit Arizona, but have learned (in school) that it is noted for its desert climate, exceptionally hot summers, and mild winters and I feel your work here conveys that fact through capturing this desert landscape.
Overall, I don't think this photo needs any changes, as mentioned above, it gives a very good antithesis, a balance if you will in photography technique.
